The fondue pot and its stand feature cast-iron construction. The cast-iron pot benefits from unmatched durability against warping and breakage, superb heat retention, and even heat distribution. Porcelain enamel coats the fondue pot to eliminate the need for pre-seasoning on the interiors, which other cast-iron cookware requires. This construction also allows the pot to adapt for stovetop or oven use. The fondue pot is cast with two small handles.
