Easy Breakfast Casseroles
Entertaining at breakfast or brunch? Need willing to do something for your family over the weekend or on vacation? These account for three – before breakfast pots are set and family to please and are very easy to prepare. The first is a variation of a casserole from a bed and breakfast, the second is a variation of a recipe from Allrecipes.com and the third is an old family favorite. All were from many people and enjoyed the recipesclaims have been countless times.
Green Chile Strata
Ingredients
2 cups milk
2 cans chopped green chili
4 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese
5 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Salt
3-6 Flour tortillas
Spray the bottom of 9×13 "baking dish. Cover bottom of dish with tortillas. You may have to cut them to fit. Sprinkle with half the chili and cheese. Repeat the layer. Combine the eggs, milk, salt and spices. Perfusionlayered ingredients. Stored in the refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Potato & Sausage Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
4 jaw Potatoes
1 pound ground sausage
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp. Seasoned salt
1 / 2 tsp. dry mustard
1 / 2 tsp. Salt
Black pepper to taste
1 1 / 2 cup grated cheddar cheese
12 eggs, beaten
1 / 2 cup milk
Bake potatoes for 30 minutes in a 350-degree oven. Remove from oven, cool, peel andCubes.
Cook sausage in medium saucepan over medium heat, brown drip, can be fat. , Remove to a plate. Melt butter, place in a saucepan and add onions and potatoes. Cook until lightly browned and onion is soft, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and seasonings.
Place potato mixture into a greased 9×13 baking pan. Cover with sausage. Sprinkle cheese over top.
Eggs with mustard and milk. Season with salt and pepper over the mixture in baking dish.
It can be baked at 350 degreesBe 30 minutes or refrigerated overnight and baked for 40 minutes or until eggs set.
Sausage Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
6 slices of bread, butter and diced
1 1 / 2 pound ground sausage
9 eggs
3 cups milk
1 1 / 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 1 / 2 tsp. Salt
1 1 / 2 tsp.dry mustard
Cook sausage until brown and crumbly. Drain and set aside. Eggs with milk, salt and mustard. Layer bread cubes, sausage and grated cheese in agreased 9×13 inch baking pan. Pour egg mixture over all. Stored in the refrigerator overnight. Be baking at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, until eggs set.
